Boulder City Club - Treasure Hunt

What:

Rootles^®- Quests for the Curious is creating a treasure hunt for the Boulder City Club.

Where:

The hunt will begin at The Historic Highlands Building and will involve locations throughout the Boulder Creek area (pdf linked map). Be advised that the hunt will require that you walk about 1-2 miles to various Boulder Creek locations, so comfortable shoes are recommended.

When:

Saturday, September 15th - The hunt will start at about 10:00 am, and take approximately 90 minutes. There will be a picnic lunch to follow.

How:

While everyone will be provided with detailed instructions when we meet to start the hunt, the general idea will find each of the teams finding and then solving the same clues, in a different order, throughout Boulder Creek. The clues will be in a different order for each team and require group thinking and teamwork to solve. Ultimately, this creates a "race" that will find teams trying to be the first to solve all of the clues and make it the final, shared, clue location.

Why:

If you’ve ever participated in a treasure hunt, then you likely remember how much fun it is to puzzle out where you’ll find your next clue, while if you've never had the pleasure of going on a treasure hunt, then this is a perfect opportunity to experience an absolutely great way to explore your surroundings!

Please:

We ask that you bring your sense of adventure, an open mind, and your clearest thinking skills, as we’ll provide the rest. Pens and paper will be available, along with other materials needed to solve the clues. Feel free to peruse the rest of the site to see sample clues and other hunt descriptions.
