Quintiles
Wednesday, September 29th, 2010

What:

Rootles®- Quests for the Curious has created a three team treasure hunt for the Quintiles retreat to The Historic Chautauqua Landmark in Boulder, CO.

Where:

The hunt will be held on the green and grounds of Chautauqua. We'll meet in the main meeting space of the Missions House to begin the hunt at 3:00PM.

When:

Wednesday, September 29th - The hunt will begin at 3:00PM and will take approximately two hours for instruction and completion.

How:

While everyone will be provided with detailed instructions when we meet to start the hunt, the general idea will find each of the teams finding and then solving the same clues, throughout Chautauqua. The clues will require group thinking and teamwork to solve and will lead teams to different locations where they will need to gather information necessary to find their final destination and solve an overall puzzle. Select team members may need to walk further than others, though nobody will need to walk more that 1-2 miles. For this reason comfortable shoes are strongly suggested.

Why:

If you’ve ever participated in a treasure hunt, then you likely remember how much fun it is to puzzle out where you’ll find your next clue, while if you've never had the pleasure of going on a treasure hunt, then this is a perfect opportunity to experience an absolutely great way to engage with co-workers while exploring your surroundings!

Please:

We ask that you bring your sense of adventure, an open mind, and your clearest thinking skills, as we’ll provide the rest. Pens and paper will be available, along with other materials needed to solve the clues. Feel free to peruse the rest of the site to see sample clues and the hunt description.

We look forward to seeing you on the 29th!
